With 2,100 sq ft of air-conditioned room, hardwood floors, high ceilings, and tables, chairs, kitchen access, and AV available, hosting feels simple from start to finish. Best of all, your rental supports Burlington Lions Club programs that give back locally.​

Rental Fees

Choose the rental option that works best for your event:

Half-Day (ideal for meetings, showers, and smaller celebrations) or Full-Day (best for larger events or when you need extra time for set-up and clean-up).

Please note: a $90 cleaning fee is included in all full-day rental fees.

  • Select our 'Half Day' or 'Full Day' rental option and select your date and time using our online calendar. Once your booking is submitted and paid, you’ll receive a confirmation and next steps by email.

  • Yes. You can pay online at checkout to reserve your booking.

  • We do not collect a damage deposit. Instead, a valid credit card is required and kept on file for every rental. By booking, you authorize the Burlington Lions Club to charge your card for any damage, loss, extra cleaning, non-compliance fees, or other additional charges that result from your rental.

  • Your rental includes use of the hall, plus tables and chairs, and access to on-site amenities.​

     

    Tables included: 12 eight-foot rectangular tables, 16 five-foot round tables, 6 cocktail tables, and 2 standing highboy tables.


    Chairs included: up to 160 chairs.

    Amenities include kitchen access, A/V equipment, and a projection screen.

  • Parking is available on-site for events. For weekday booking there are 44 spots in the North Lot available on a first come first serve basis, for weekend bookings renters may use the reserved parking spots, aproximetely 75 in total. Parking is also available on-street and throughout downtown.

  • Is alcohol permitted?

    Alcohol rules are based on provincial based on licensing requirements.

    If a Lioquor License is required must be on display at the event.  Servers must have their Smart Serve accrediation. 

  • Your rental fee is due in full at the time of booking. 

  • Our cancellation policy depends on how close to the event date you cancel. Cancellations made within 31 days will receive a full refund, Cancellations in less than 30 days are subject to a $150 cancellation fee. No refund will be provided for cancellations within 7 days of your booking. Please review our Rental Policies page for the full details before booking.

  • Yes. Lion’s Hall is accessible, with accessible washrooms, parking, and access.

  • Temporary decorations are welcome, as long as they’re removed before you leave and don’t damage the facility.​

    What’s allowed:

    Decorations on glass or metal surfaces are fine, as long as they won’t leave marks or cause damage.

    Only painter’s tape (green or blue) may be used, and it must be removed completely at the end of your booking.

    What’s not allowed

    Do not attach decorations to painted surfaces or ceilings.

    No cellotape, duct tape, red tape, or other adhesives.

    No rice or confetti inside the facility or anywhere on the property.

    Candles, fog machines, and pyrotechnics are not permitted inside the building or on the outdoor property. Use of any of these items will result in immediate cancellation of the event. Please note that triggering a false fire alarm can result in an invoice of approximately $2,400 from Burlington Fire Department, which would be the responsibility of the renter.

  • Prior to occupancy, Renters must present for verification, acceptance and approval a true copy of a Certificate of Insurance naming Burlington Lions Club as Additionally Insured, providing at least Two Million Dollars ($2,000,000.00) in liability insurance. The deductible may not exceed $1,000.00 and must be paid by the Renter.
