Some farms are built on a season. Pineview Orchards is built on generations. A sixth-generation family farm nestled between the southern shore of Lake Ontario and the base of the Niagara Escarpment in Jordan Station, Pineview Orchards has been growing tender fruit and fresh vegetables since before most of us can remember.

Their unique geography is no accident — the Niagara Escarpment acts as a natural wind buffer and the proximity to Lake Ontario moderates temperatures, creating ideal conditions for growing stone fruit and a wide range of vegetables. This is some of the most prized agricultural land in all of Canada, and the McDougall-Dery family has been making the most of it for six generations.

What You'll Find at Their Stand

Pineview brings over 7 types of fruit and more than 20 varieties of vegetables to market, all grown right on the farm. You can expect peaches, nectarines, cherries, apricots, plums, pears, and apples in season, alongside vegetables like peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, beans, squash, zucchini, beets, and much more.

Their CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program connects shoppers directly with the farm throughout the season, allowing you to receive hand-picked, field-fresh produce delivered or ready for pick-up. Pineview is also My-Pick certified by Farmers' Markets Ontario — that means you can be confident you're buying directly from the growers themselves.

A Family Affair, A Community Tradition

Pineview Orchards represents everything a farmers' market should be: real food, grown with care, by people who have a deep connection to the land beneath their feet. When you shop with Pineview, you're not just buying produce — you're continuing a six-generation legacy of quality farming in Ontario's heartland.

Find them at the Burlington Farmers' Market on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Visit their website at pinevieworchards.ca to learn more.
